Job summary

InProduction, Inc. is seeking a Yard Lead to support daily yard operations and provide hands-on leadership for Yard Associates in Birmingham. You will ensure materials, equipment, tools, and staging assets are received, organized, and moved safely and efficiently.

This full-time, on-site position requires leadership, clear communication, and a focus on productivity, accountability, and safety, with comprehensive benefits and an hourly pay rate of $25–$27.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in delivery, warehousing, receiving, packing or shipping
• Familiar with basic hand tools
• Able to read and understand safety instructions
• Forklift training and license preferred

Responsibilities

• Train and direct assigned personnel
• Maximize productivity through supervision
• Handle shipments and verify counts
• Maintain records and reports
• Inspect machinery and perform maintenance
• Load/unload vehicles and prepare pallets
• Ensure safety measures and site cleanliness
• May supervise building access and security
