Job summary

STARK Building Materials UK in the United Kingdom is seeking a customer service representative for a full-time role. You will greet customers, identify needs and deliver quick, friendly service, helping our yard, counter and shop floor operate smoothly.

You''ll build relationships, ask open questions, and support initiatives to boost sales, margins and service. Training includes forklift handling and safe loading; you will work Monday to Friday 7:30–17:00 with Saturday mornings every other week.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge customers, ascertain their needs and wow them with quick and efficient service.
• Ask open questions to understand current and future requirements so we can support all their needs.
• Maintain high standards across the yard, counter and shop floor.
• Operate machinery safely and carry out key activities such as offloading, picking, packing, restocking and loading vehicles.
• Support initiatives to increase sales, margin and service as required.
• Continually develop knowledge of core and specialist product lines to meet customer needs.
• Loading and unloading vehicles manually and with a forklift (training will be provided).
