Job summary

Travis Perkins is hiring a Yard Assistant to support our busy yard operations. Based on site, you will handle customer orders, load and unload vehicles, and assist with stock in the warehouse while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

Prior forklift experience is ideal, but full training is provided. You will need to be confident, energetic, and capable of working in a fast-paced outdoor environment, with a focus on excellent customer service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing role requires enthusiasm and great interpersonal skills.
• Be physically able to handle heavy and bulky stock in a yard.
• Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and stay adaptable.

Responsibilities

• Process customer orders and unload/load vehicles on site.
• Unload building products from supplier deliveries and book them into the branch warehouse.
• Ensure a tidy, safe working environment and follow health and safety guidelines.
