Job summary

Sydenhams Limited is seeking a reliable Yard Assistant for our Devizes branch. This full-time role involves maintaining the yard, organizing stock, and delivering excellent service to customers. You will support the wider team by ensuring smooth yard operations.

Key tasks include unloading deliveries, keeping accurate stock information for the sales team, and ensuring a clean, safe environment. Forklift license is preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of building materials is helpful but not essential.
• Forklift license is beneficial but not essential.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work well in a team and independently.
• Good communication skills.
• Valid UK driving license is required.

Responsibilities

• Organising and maintaining stock in the yard.

Hours:Monday to Friday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM (1 hour lunch break), alternative Saturdays: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

About the Role:
