Job summary

Ratby Primary School is seeking three Learning Support Assistants to join its team. The roles are 26.25 hours per week, term-time plus inset, with a fixed term until 22 August 2027. You will work within Key Stage 1 or 2, providing targeted SEND support and helping pupils access learning.

You will work closely with the class teacher and SENDCo to implement strategies, deliver small-group interventions and offer one-to-one support to help pupils reach their goals.

Qualifications

  • NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Teaching and Learning required.
  • Experience working in a classroom environment desired.
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills expected.
  • Excellent communication skills preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support pupils within the classroom and deliver targeted interventions.
  • Provide one-to-one support where required.
  • Implement strategies and support plans for diverse learning needs.
  • Collaborate with the class teacher and SENDCo to promote inclusion.
