Job summary

Gaddesby Primary School is seeking a Learning Support Assistant and Midday Supervisor on a fixed-term basis to support pupils in lessons and at lunchtimes. The role may involve 1:1 SEND support, small groups, or whole-class assistance to promote inclusive learning.

The ideal candidate will have NVQ2 or equivalent, classroom experience, and a commitment to the school's values and progression of learning. The post is term-time with inset days, within Bradgate Education Partnership.

Qualifications

  • Be NVQ Level 2 qualified at least (or equivalent).
  • Have experience in a classroom environment.
  • Have experience of supporting SEND in an educational setting.
  • Have good literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Have the motivation and passion for being part of a successful school team.

Responsibilities

  • Support pupils and teachers in the classroom and during lunchtime.
  • Be flexible to support 1:1 with a pupil with SEND, small groups, or whole classes.
  • Assist with the progression of learning and use resources to support inclusion.
