Job summary

St Andrew's Catholic Primary School invites a caring Wraparound Care Practitioner to join the after-school club, Monday to Friday, 3:30pm–6:30pm, 15 hours weekly. You will create a safe, engaging environment where children learn, play and thrive.

Applicants should hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare or a related field, have experience with children, and demonstrate excellent communication and safeguarding commitment. DBS clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Hold a Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years, Playwork or a related field.
• Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Enthusiastic, proactive and team-oriented.
• Strong commitment to safeguarding and child welfare.

Wraparound Care Practitioner (After School Club)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 3:30pm - 6:30pm (15 hours per week)

St Andrew's Catholic Primary School is seeking a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Wraparound Care Practitioner to join our dedicated team and support our after-school provision.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with children and creating a safe, engaging and nurturing environment where children can learn, play and thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

• Providing high-quality care and supervision for children attending the after-school club.
• Planning and delivering engaging activities suitable for primary-aged children.
• Supporting children's social, emotional and physical development.
• Ensuring safeguarding, health and safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Building positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
• Preparing and tidying resources and activity areas.

The Successful Candidate Will:

• Hold a minimum Level 3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years, Playwork or a related field.
• Have experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Be enthusiastic, proactive and able to work as part of a team.
• Have a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
