Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Workspace Ambassador in Reading on a fixed-term contract until December 2026. The role focuses on delivering an exceptional workplace experience across designated floors and collaborating with IT, maintenance and facilities teams to keep services running smoothly.

You will manage meetings, AV equipment, and front-of-house duties while supporting workplace technology adoption and overall customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Own designated floors and surrounding areas to ensure best workplace experience.
• Collaborate with IT, maintenance, cleaning and other departments to report and close tickets.
• Coordinate works with internal teams to minimise disruption and maximise satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain excellent communication with key colleagues.
• Manage meeting rooms daily, ensuring cleanliness and functioning AV equipment.
• Provide support to meetings to ensure smooth delivery.
• Manage stationery stock within print areas.
• Conduct daily checks on photocopiers, meeting rooms, breakouts and spaces.
• Act as ambassador for workplace technology applications and user adoption.
• Support Facilities in managing subcontracted services to high standards.
• Report health and safety hazards via facilities and IT helpdesk systems.
• Undertake general manual handling duties as required.
• Maintain notices, floor maps, fire warden and first aid information.
• Assist Facilities with minor move requests and planning support.
• Provide moves liaison support, including portering and planning.
• Provide cover for other floors when needed.
• Cover front-of-house duties as required.
• Complete ad hoc administrative duties.
• Support clear desk initiatives and hygiene standards.
• Act as Fire Marshal and support safe building evacuation procedures.
• Complete mandatory eLearning on time.
