Job summary

Kemp Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Workshop/Yard Assistant to support the service and maintenance of our rental fleet. This is a hands-on role involving workshop support, yard duties and assisting with the upkeep of equipment.

You'll assist with servicing, maintenance and preparation of rental equipment, load and unload in the yard, and may operate a forklift (training provided). A Full UK Driving Licence, Forklift Truck Licence and CSCS Card are preferred, with previous workshop or engineering

Qualifications

• Valid driving licence is required.
• Forklift truck licence is preferred.
• Previous workshop or engineering experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Assist with servicing, maintenance and preparation of rental equipment.
• Support workshop repairs and off-site servicing when required.
• Load and unload equipment within the yard.
• Operate a forklift when required (training provided).
• Record generator hours and fuel levels when equipment returns.
• Collect and deliver parts and equipment using company vehicles.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.
• Follow company Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental procedures.
