Barnet and Southgate College's Southgate Campus seeks a qualified Electrician to join our Construction team as an Electrical Installation Workshop Technician. You will run day-to-day workshop operations, prepare sessions, and provide technical support to lecturers and learners.
You will demonstrate wiring techniques, safe isolation, testing methods and ensure tools and benches stay in top condition, while maintaining safety, stock and workshop layout to industry standards.

As our Electrical Installation Workshop Technician, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation, maintenance and organisation of the Electrical Installation workshops at our Southgate campus. You will prepare workshops for practical sessions, provide technical support to lecturers and learners, deliver demonstrations modelling correct wiring techniques, safe isolation procedures and testing methods, and keep tools, equipment, training rigs and benches in excellent working order.
