Pertemps is seeking a Workshop Technician to join our Redhill yard team. You will maintain, service and repair plant machinery and specialized equipment, preparing gear for hire and performing yard maintenance to ensure reliability.

We welcome both early career and experienced technicians with mechanical and electrical aptitude. A full UK driving licence is essential, and you will benefit from a supportive team and training opportunities.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary: £30,000 – £45,000+ (Dependent on experience)

An opportunity has become available for a Workshop Technician to join our operations team based at our Redhill yard.
The RoleWorking as part of a fast-paced team, you will be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing plant machinery and specialized equipment. Your core duties will include preparing equipment for hire following strict check sheets, completing scheduled maintenance in the yard, and occasionally attending on-site breakdowns when required.
Who We Are Looking ForWe are flexible on background and welcome applications from two distinct profiles:

• Early Career / Developing Technicians: Individuals with basic mechanical and electrical experience who are keen to learn a specialist trade, develop an understanding of equipment configurations, and work toward relevant engineering qualifications.
  
• Experienced Technicians: Candidates with strong electrical ability who possess a proven track record of integrating their electrical expertise into mechanical applications, plant machinery, agricultural equipment, or related technical fields.
  

A full, valid driving licence is essential for this position.
