Workshop Technician

Westbourne is a trusted provider of class-leading breakdown cover across Southern England. We’re renowned for our rapid roadside repairs, exceptional customer service, and commitment to getting motorists back on the road quickly and safely.

We’re looking for a Workshop Technician to join our team and work on a variety of vehicles, from cars and light vans to HGV recovery vehicles. If you’re passionate about vehicle maintenance and repairs, this could be the perfect role for you.

What You'll Do

• Service, inspect, and repair Westbourne’s fleet of rescue and recovery vehicles, alongside retail customer vehicles.
• Work primarily on vehicles under 3500 kg, with occasional larger HGV work.
• Handle a variety of faults and repairs, delivering high-quality workmanship within agreed timeframes.

What We Offer

• Salary: £37,000 per annum, based on a 47.25-hour workweek.
• Hours:Monday to Friday: 08:00 – 17:30 & Alternate Saturdays: 08:00 – 12:30
• Holidays: 28 days (including 8 public/bank holidays).
• Bonus: Earn £16.50 for every hour charged above 120 hours/month, potentially adding up to £7,920 annually.
• Pension: Automatic enrolment after 3 months of continuous employment.
• Uniform: Overalls provided. (Safety footwear is mandatory and to be supplied by the employee.)
