Kautec Recruitment is seeking a qualified Workshop Vehicle Engineer to work on a diverse fleet including HGVs, municipal vehicles, gritters, and sweepers. You will be responsible for preventative maintenance, MOT readiness, and fault finding to DVSA standards.
The ideal candidate will hold City & Guilds and/or NVQ qualifications with proven experience as an HGV technician and a proactive, customer-focused attitude.

We are looking for a qualified and time served HGV Technician who can demonstrate a thorough understanding of commercial vehicle mechanical dynamics.

You will be carrying out inspections to a varied and diverse fleet. Typically this will include HGV's, (Municipal/ Council Vehicles) Gritters, Dust Carts/ Refuse Collection Vehicles, Sweepers etc
You could be working on main dealer heavy goods vehicles (HGV#s) refuse collection vehicles, road sweepers, hook loaders, light commercials (vans), trailers and tippers-
The type of work you can expect to be carrying out includes (but is not limited to)
Ideally you will be fully qualified (City & Guilds), NVQ or equivalent.
Additional accreditations such as IRTEC would be desirable, as would a HGV Class 1 or licence.
