JMC Aviation Limited in the UK is seeking a Workshop Team Leader to sign off routine maintenance, inspections and service bulletins on CFM56 and LEAP engines while overseeing the shop floor and mentoring junior technicians.

You will lead maintenance tasks, ensure airworthiness and quality, interpret manuals, coordinate with engineering and production teams, and drive a safe, compliant work environment in a dynamic aviation setting.

Qualifications

• Recognised apprenticeship in the aircraft industry.
• Experience in engine shop or aircraft MRO.
• Authorized to certify engine maintenance.
• Hands-on leader with mentoring ability.
• Experience with CFM, LEAP or V2500 engines preferred.
• Knowledge of QA procedures and EASA/FAA Part 145.

Responsabilités

• Inspect, disassemble, repair and reassemble engines per procedures.
• Certify completed work per regulatory requirements.
• Ensure airworthiness, safety and quality standards.
• Lead the team, supervise engineers and mentor juniors.
• Interpret manuals, service bulletins and drawings.
• Diagnose faults and implement corrective actions.
• Complete maintenance docs accurately and timely.
• Support audits and QA systems.
• Coordinate with engineering, quality and production.
• Maintain a clean, safe shop floor.
• Follow drawings and procedures; keep records updated.
