Job summary

JMC Aviation Limited in Luton is seeking an Aircraft Technical Administrator to coordinate maintenance inputs and act as the main point of contact for customers and engineers throughout the maintenance process.

The role requires strong organisational and communication skills in a fast-paced aviation environment, with a 4 on/4 off shift pattern and 40 hours per week. A proactive customer-focused approach and ability to work with cross-functional teams are essential.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate aircraft maintenance inputs, primarily for non-scheduled maintenance activities.
• Act as the main point of contact for customers throughout the maintenance process.
• Liaise with engineers, support teams, internal departments and third‑party providers to ensure maintenance inputs run smoothly.
• Provide regular progress updates and effectively manage customer expectations.
• Produce and maintain maintenance work packages and associated documentation.
• Monitor maintenance progress to ensure aircraft are delivered safely, on time and in accordance with company procedures.
• Support the final audit and completion of maintenance paperwork.
• Maintain high standards of customer service, quality and operational efficiency throughout each maintenance event.
• Work flexibly in line with the needs of the business, including alternative working hours when required.
