Job summary

JMC Aviation is recruiting a Workshop Team Leader to sign off routine maintenance, inspections and service bulletins on CFM56 and LEAP engines while supervising the shop floor and junior technicians. This role emphasizes safety, compliance and technical excellence within a dynamic environment.

The successful candidate will have an apprenticeship in aircraft maintenance and proven supervisory experience, with the ability to mentor engineers and ensure high-quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• Recognised apprenticeship within the aircraft industry.
• Hands-on leadership experience supervising engineers.
• Ability to mentor and develop junior engineers.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection, disassembly, repair, and reassembly of aircraft engines and components.
• Certify completed work in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Ensure maintenance activities meet airworthiness, safety, and quality standards.
• Act as Team Leader, overseeing tasks and supervising engineers.
• Mentor junior engineers and support learning and development.
• Interpret manuals, service bulletins and drawings.
• Conduct fault diagnosis and implement corrective actions.
• Complete and sign off maintenance documentation accurately.
