Job summary

Recruitment Helpline Ltd are seeking a Workshop & Stores Assistant for a full-time position in Newton Abbot, Devon. You will support the CNC workshop with deburring, cleaning, organising materials and shipping parts, while also assisting with deliveries and general store duties.

No previous engineering experience is required as on-the-job training will be provided to develop skills in CNC machining, inspection and measuring equipment.

• Reliable, hands-on approach with good attention to detail and eagerness to learn.

Full-Time | Newton Abbot

The company is looking for a reliable and practical person to join their team and assist with general duties within the CNC engineering workshop and material store.

Main duties:

• Deburring and cleaning completed machined parts
• Preparing parts for inspection, finishing and dispatch
• Organising materials and the material store
• Packing completed components
• Keeping workshop areas clean and organised
• Assisting with deliveries and general workshop duties

No previous engineering experience is essential. For the right person, we can provide engineering training and the opportunity to develop skills in CNC machining, engineering drawings, inspection and precision measuring equipment.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, hands-on, has good attention to detail and is keen to learn.

Hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday, between 8:00am and 5:15pm

Location: Newton Abbot, Devon

Pay: Depending on experience
