Job summary

Recruitment Helpline Ltd are seeking a Workshop & Stores Assistant for a full-time position in Newton Abbot, Devon. You will support the CNC workshop with deburring, cleaning, organising materials and shipping parts, while also assisting with deliveries and general store duties.

No previous engineering experience is required as on-the-job training will be provided to develop skills in CNC machining, inspection and measuring equipment.

Qualifications

• No previous engineering experience is essential.
• Reliable, hands-on approach with good attention to detail and eagerness to learn.
• Training provided in CNC machining, engineering drawings, inspection and precision measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

• Deburring and cleaning completed machined parts.
• Preparing parts for inspection, finishing and dispatch.
• Organising materials and the material store.
• Packing completed components.
• Keeping workshop areas clean and organised.
• Assisting with deliveries and general workshop duties.
