Job summary

Alecto Recruitment Limited in Tipton is seeking a Workshop-Based Plant & LGV Mechanic to service and repair a modern fleet of plant machinery and LGV vehicles. The role is based in a busy workshop with a friendly team and offers training, competitive pay, and a rota.

You will fault-find hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and carry out planned maintenance, keep accurate records, and support breakdowns. A full UK driving license is required; LGV/HGV license is a bonus.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plant Maintenance, Heavy Vehicle Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering or similar.
• Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
• LGV/HGV Licence advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing plant machinery and LGV vehicles.
• Diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical faults.
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance inspections.
