Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD in Bristol is seeking a Workshop Engineer to maintain, service and repair heavy plant at the Bristol depot, with a focus on telehandlers and roto telehandlers. The role is based in a busy workshop and offers a clear progression path.

The successful candidate will diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems, perform preventive maintenance and keep thorough records while following health and safety rules in a structured workshop environment.

Qualifications

Experience with heavy plant maintenance and repair.
Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
NVQ Level 2/3 in plant maintenance is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

Conduct routine maintenance, inspections and repairs on telehandlers and roto telehandlers.
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
Perform preventive maintenance to maximise equipment lifespan.
Maintain detailed records of maintenance and repair activities.

Salary - £37,000 - £39,000 DOE

Location - Bristol

Our client is a leading provider of hire equipment across the country and is looking for a workshop engineer to maintain, service and repair heavy plant in their Bristol depot. The ideal candidate will have background experience of working with heavy plant, the role will be repairing and servicing heavy plant in the depot specifically telehandlers and roto telehandlers.

Experience working on telehandlers and roto telehandlers would be preferred but not essential
