Job summary

Veolia Group is seeking a dedicated Fleet Technician to repair and maintain our fleet and third-party vehicles to industry standards.

You will diagnose issues with hydraulic, electrical and pneumatic systems, ensuring safety compliance and timely paperwork, while coordinating with teams across depots. The role includes MOT checks and shift coverage on a rolling biweekly basis.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds or HGV NVQ Level 3 qualification.
• Good communication and ability to work under pressure.
• Flexibility to undertake a wide range of tasks and meet deadlines.
• Microsoft Office or IT literacy for paperwork and updates.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain Veolia fleet and 3rd party vehicles to factory/industry standards.
• Perform vehicle diagnostics using specialized equipment and conduct hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic repairs.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations and maintain workplace safety standards.
• Complete required paperwork, timesheets, and operational update sheets accurately and timely.
• Conduct MOT inspections, coordinate vehicle maintenance and drive efficiency across depots.
