Job summary

JCT600 Ltd in Hull is seeking a proactive Workshop Manager to lead our Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles workshop. You will drive a culture of excellence, manage resources and coach the workshop team to deliver outstanding customer service.

You will work closely with Front of House to ensure seamless service and continuous improvement through training and progression opportunities offered by the brand partner. A strong focus on efficiency and customer satisfaction is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a main-dealer workshop or as Workshop Controller/Assistant Manager.
• NVQ Level 3 in Motor Vehicle Maintenance and Repair is advantageous but not essential.
• Full UK driving licence (free from excessive penalties).

Responsibilities

• Utilise workshop resources to meet budgeted financial and operational objectives while maintaining customer experience.
• Ensure effective communication between the Workshop and Front of House to deliver the highest level of service.
• Lead, coach and develop the Workshop team with regular reviews and meetings.
• Oversee resource management to maximise productivity, efficiency and utilisation.
• Drive and maintain a culture of high performance and excellence.
