Job summary

Stagecoach Perth depot is seeking a hands-on Workshop Manager to lead a team across 102+ vehicles. You will oversee maintenance scheduling, service delivery, and quality checks to ensure reliable, well-presented buses. Strong leadership and a proactive safety mindset are essential for continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in mechanical or automotive engineering.
Experience supervising or managing a workshop or technical team.
Strong understanding of health and safety practices and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

Leading and motivating your team to deliver safe, reliable and well‑presented vehicles
Scheduling and prioritising vehicle maintenance and servicing activities
Supporting team development, identifying training needs and fostering continuous improvement
Quality checking vehicles after maintenance to ensure high standards are met
Upholding health, safety and environmental standards in line with legislation and Stagecoach policy
