• Hands-on engineering background required with strong welding skills.
• Experience leading a workshop team and coordinating technicians.
• Understanding of health and safety and workshop processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running of the workshop and lead technicians.
• Manage repairs and planned maintenance, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
• Improve workshop processes to enhance efficiency, quality, safety and cost control.
• Maintain workshop records, inductions and contractor control.
• Support training and development of apprentices and existing staff.
