Job summary

Donnelly Group is seeking an experienced Workshop Manager to lead a busy, franchised workshop and drive high standards of performance and customer service. The role focuses on workload management, technician support, and efficient repair delivery.

You will oversee eVHC processes, warranty authorisations, quality checks, and health & safety compliance, ensuring vehicles are ready for collection and customers receive top service.

Qualifications

• Master Technician level with supervisory/managerial via workshop experience.
• 3-4 years' experience in franchised workshop.
• Experience diagnosing and electrically fault-finding repairs.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage the workshop workload and allocate jobs to Technicians to maximise productivity and customer satisfaction.
• Ensure vehicles complete the eVHC process and support Service Advisors with costs and timings.
• Monitor repairs to ensure all work is completed correctly, efficiently and Right First Time.
• Identify warranty repairs and obtain authorisation where required.
• Support Technicians with complex technical issues, escalating where necessary.
• Keep Service Advisors updated on repair progress and any additional work identified.
• Ensure Repair Orders/Job Cards are accurate, complete and suitable for customer explanations and warranty claims.
• Carry out quality control checks, including road tests where required.
• Maintain high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance.
• Ensure completed vehicles are prepared and ready for customer collection.

Donnelly Group is hiring an experienced Workshop Manager to join our team. Working within a busy and successful dealership, this is an excellent opportunity to take on a key leadership role, supporting our workshop team and helping to deliver high standards of performance, quality and customer service.

About The Role

Manage the workshop workload and allocate jobs to Technicians to maximise productivity and customer satisfaction.

• Proven experience carrying out diagnostic and electrical fault-finding repairs.
• A full UK driving licence is essential.

Required Criteria

• Ideally fully qualified to Master Technician level and have experience in a supervisory/managerial role
• A full driving licence is essential
• Previous supervisory or managerial experience is highly desirable.
