Job summary

Donnelly Group is seeking a Volkswagen Technician at Donnelly VW in Eglinton. The role involves diagnosing, repairing and servicing the full VW range, with road testing and responsible parts handling to ensure excellent customer experience.

A full UK driving licence and Level 3 Light Vehicle studies are required. You will join a long-established, family-owned motor retailer in Northern Ireland, with opportunities for development, training and career progression across 22 brands and nine

Qualifications

• Completion of Apprenticeship in Light Vehicle Repair or equivalent BTEC or City & Guilds.
• Willing to achieve manufacturer qualification within an agreed timeframe.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with colleagues.
• A mindset that prioritises health and safety matters.

Responsibilities

• Diagnosis, repair and service of the full range of VW brand products.

About The Role

As a Volkswagen Technician, you’ll be responsible for the diagnosis, repair and service of the full range of brand products. You’ll also undertake vehicle road testing and will be responsible for ensuring vehicle parts are handled and stored appropriately. And of course, you’ll also play your part in ensuring that our customers receive great service, from start to finish.

You must hold a full valid drivers licence and have completed L3 Light Vehicle Studies.

Required Criteria

• Completion of Apprenticeship in Light Vehicle Repair or equivalent BTEC or City & Guilds qualifications and/or equivalent time served experience


• Your commitment to achieve a manufacturer’s recognised qualification within an agreed timeframe


• A full UK Driving Licence


• Great communication skills with the ability to liaise with colleagues


• A high focus on continued development by adapting and learning new tools/techniques as needed, with a willingness to embrace change


• A mindset that prioritises health and safety matters
