Job summary

Brewers Decorator Centres in Eastbourne is seeking a proactive Workshop Maintenance Operative to join the Premises team at Albany House. You will manage stock of shopfitting and merchandising materials, load/unload equipment, and carry out repairs and installations at branches and company sites.

The role requires hands-on practical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Driving licence and experience with shopfitting are desirable.

Qualifications

• Practical experience with shopfitting and stock handling.
• Ability to maintain tidy storage areas and plan workload.
• Experience using power and hand tools for installations.

Responsibilities

• Keep storage areas clean and tidy.
• Load/unload materials from company vehicles.
• Ensure despatched equipment is in good repair and presentable.
• Order shopfitting components and monitor stock levels.
• Check and issue materials moving in/out of stock.
• Unload/load vehicles safely within legal limits.
• Occasional travel and overnight stays; vocational driving involved.
