Job summary

Veolia UK is seeking a qualified maintenance professional to lead a workshop team in Morden. You will supervise on-site operations, manage contractors, and ensure safety, quality and timely delivery of services.

The role requires City & Guilds or HGV NVQ Level 3, LGV Cat C/C+E licence, and strong IT and communication skills. On-site work with 40 hours per week and competitive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds or HGV NVQ Level 3 vehicle maintenance and repairs required.
• LGV Category C or C+E vocational licence holder required.
• Good communication skills essential.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to various tasks.
• IT skills expected.
• MOT regulations knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety culture on site and lead by example.
• Deliver KPIs for risk, assurance, fleet compliance and service levels.
• Manage contractors on site and issue permits per procedures.
• Lead a team of workshop technicians and support staff.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback.
• Identify training needs and facilitate skill development.
• Be the primary point of contact for key customers and address inquiries.
• Ensure timely delivery of products and services and maintain quality.
