Job summary

Grundon in Beenham is seeking a proactive Maintenance Workshop Supervisor to lead HGV technicians and apprentices, ensuring efficient, safe service delivery and compliance with company policies.

You will oversee day-to-day workshop activities, manage service sheets, support parts control, and work with the Workshop Manager to maintain the fleet maintenance system (R2C) and LOLER compliance. Qualifications

• Experience supervising a technical workshop with safe working practices.
• Knowledge of fleet maintenance processes and regulatory compliance.
• Competent fault diagnosis and repair planning.
• Clear written and verbal communication with teams and management.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day workshop activities and allocate work to technicians and apprentices.
• Ensure safe working practices, cost-effective use of time, and high standards.
• Carry out hands-on servicing, repairs, and general workshop support.
• Manage service sheets, job cards, defects, and VOR reporting with operations.
• Coordinate with the Workshop Manager to use the fleet system (R2C) and LOLER compliance.
• Assist with parts management, ordering, stock control, and records.
