Job summary

Grundon Waste Management Ltd is seeking a motivated individual to supervise the Maintenance Workshop in Beenham. You will oversee HGV Technicians and Apprentices, ensuring efficient service, safety, and quality repairs, with hands-on duties as required.

The role requires a supervisory background, a Class 2 LGV licence and knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrics, and mechanical systems. You will work with the Workshop Manager to maintain systems and compliance, with opportunities for

Qualifications

• Experience supervising workshop Technicans and apprentices.
• Must hold LGV Class 2 (or higher) licence and tachograph card.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrics and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day workshop activities and allocate work to technicians and apprentices.
• Ensure safe, efficient operations and high-quality repairs.
• Carry out hands-on servicing and repairs as needed.
• Manage service sheets, defects, and VOR reporting with operations.
• Maintain fleet systems (R2C) and LOler compliance.
• Assist with parts management and stock control.
