Job summary

THX Ltd is seeking a proactive Workshop Supervisor to lead the team, support the Workshop Controller, and oversee the maintenance, inspection and repair of returning hire equipment. You will balance hands-on work with team management and liaise with other departments on breakdowns and enquiries.

The role requires strong mechanical and electrical skills, supervisory experience or the right attitude to guide staff, and excellent planning and documentation abilities.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a workshop team and managing day-to-day operations.
• Strong mechanical and electrical repair knowledge across a wide range of tools.
• Ability to work from manuals and diagrams to diagnose faults.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train and develop the workshop team with daily one-to-ones.
• Resource planning and holiday approvals for the team.
• Review stock and set daily inspection/repair priorities.
