Job summary

Lancashire DAF in Preston are looking for a Workshop Labourer/Cleaner to join our busy workshop in Bamber Bridge, Preston. This role focuses on keeping the workshop clean, tidy and well-maintained while supporting yard housekeeping and safe operations.

Responsibilities include waste disposal according to Environmental Policy, adhering to health and safety regulations, and assisting with general tasks. Forklift operation is advantageous, with a 39-hour week and paid overtime on offer.

Qualifications

• A positive enthusiastic individual with a ‘can do’ attitude who can work well as part of a team.
• Experience in a similar workshop environment would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the workshop is clean, organised, and well-maintained
• Housekeeping of the yard areas
• Ensure waste disposal is in accordance with our Environmental Policy
• Prioritise safety by adhering to all health and safety regulations
• Operate a forklift truck for efficient material handling – licence is advantageous
• Assist with other general workshop tasks as needed
