Arriva UK Bus Ltd in Luton is seeking a Workshop Cleaner to help keep our engineering facilities clean, safe, and well-organised. You will help maintain a high standard of cleanliness across workshops, offices, welfare facilities, and communal areas.

Join Arriva and play an important role in keeping our workshop clean, safe, and well-organised. As a Workshop Cleaner, you'll help maintain a high standard of cleanliness across our engineering facilities, ensuring a safe and professional working environment for our teams.
Carry out general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and maintaining workshop floors, offices, welfare facilities, and communal areas.
Clean and sanitise workshop equipment, tools, and machinery where required.
Empty waste bins and dispose of waste in line with company procedures and environmental guidelines.
Clean, replenish, and maintain toilets, washrooms, and changing facilities.
Identify and report maintenance issues, hazards, or damaged equipment to the Workshop Supervisor.
Ensure all cleaning equipment and materials are used safely and stored correctly.
Follow all company health and safety policies and safe working practices.
Assist with the movement and organisation of workshop materials and parts when required.
Maintain consistently high standards of cleanliness and housekeeping across all assigned areas.
Previous cleaning experience, ideally within an industrial, engineering, or workshop environment, is desirable but not essential.
Knowledge of cleaning products and their safe use.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
A proactive approach with excellent attention to detail.
Good understanding of health and safety practices.
Physically capable of carrying out manual cleaning duties and lifting moderate loads where required.
Reliable, punctual, and committed to maintaining high standards.
Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions effectively.
