Key Responsibilities of the Workshop Fitter:

• Maintain and repair a wide range of construction plant equipment to a high standard.
• Diagnose faults, conduct servicing, and carry out repairs in a busy workshop environment.
• Work with various equipment, including small tools, generators, pumps, diggers, excavators, rollers, telehandlers, and forklifts.
• Complete all necessary paperwork accurately and efficiently.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure smooth operations and timely service delivery.
• Proven mechanical experience in plant maintenance or repair.
• Relevant qualifications, such as NVQ or City & Guilds in Plant Maintenance or Engineering.
• Previous experience in roles such as Plant Fitter, Plant Engineer, Workshop Engineer, Service Engineer, or Field Service Engineer.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and work efficiently under pressure.
• A full UK driving licence is essential (you do not have to own a vehicle)
