Job Title: Heavy Plant Fitter
Location: Hertfordshire, UK
Salary: 37,000 - 41,000 basic + Company Van

Are you an experienced Heavy Plant Fitter looking for your next opportunity? Join our clients civil engineering team in Hertfordshire, where you'll work on a variety of machinery including diggers, dumpers, excavators, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Service, repair, and maintain heavy plant machinery (diggers, dumpers, excavators, etc.)
• Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting on hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
• Carry out both planned maintenance and reactive repairs
• Mixture of workshop-based and mobile work at various sites
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Heavy Plant Fitter/Mechanic
• Strong knowledge of hydraulics, electrical systems, and mechanical repairs on heavy plant machinery
• Full UK driving license
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
