Job summary

Coalesce Recruitment Limited is seeking a Workshop Engineer for a nationwide service provider, based in Oldbury. The role includes full training, working Monday to Friday, and progression opportunities.

You will learn to inspect, repair, service and maintain moving decks on HGV vehicles, including ropes, pulleys, hydraulic rams, trunking and wiring, with ongoing support from experienced engineers.

Qualifications

• Semi-skilled Mechanical Engineer, Mechanic, Fitter or Maintenance Engineer.
• Strong practical approach to problem solving and comfort using hand tools.
• Mechanical and electrical engineering skills beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, service and maintain moving decks on HGV vehicles.
• Change ropes, pulleys and hydraulic rams as part of routine maintenance.
• Run trunking and wiring as part of the job.

Workshop Engineer – Nationwide Service Provider – Oldbury – Full Training Provided - Salary: £27,040 - £31,200 + 20 Days Holiday + bank + pension + Workwear + Full Training Provided

Are you a semi-skilled Mechanical Engineer, Mechanic, Fitter or Maintenance Engineer and now looking to develop your skills and experience?

Do you have experience of fitting, assembling, repairing or servicing mechanical based equipment?

Joining their depot based in Oldbury which is their centre of excellence for moving decks you will be trained on how to inspect, repair, service and maintain moving decks on HGV vehicles which will include changing ropes, pulleys, hydraulic rams as well as running trunking and wiring.

Working hours are Monday – Friday 8am – 5pm with 1 hour lunch.
