Job summary

Coalesce Recruitment Limited is recruiting for a Workshop Engineer at their Oldbury depot, with full training provided on moving decks used on HGV vehicles. You will learn inspection, repair and routine servicing, plus rope, pulley and hydraulic ram work.

Hours are Monday–Friday 8am–5pm with a one-hour lunch break. The role suits a semi-skilled mechanic or maintenance engineer looking to progress, with ongoing support from experienced engineers and managers and a clear path for certification and

• Strong practical approach to problem solving.
• Comfortable using various hand tools.
• Mechanical and electrical engineering skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, service and maintain moving decks on HGV vehicles.
• Change ropes, pulleys and hydraulic rams.
• Run trunking and wiring within the equipment.
• Work within a comprehensive workshop training program.
• Join a depot-based team with ongoing development.

Workshop Engineer – Nationwide Service Provider – Oldbury – Full Training Provided - Salary: £27,040 - £31,200 + 20 Days Holiday + bank + pension + Workwear + Full Training Provided

Are you a semi-skilled Mechanical Engineer, Mechanic, Fitter or Maintenance Engineer and now looking to develop your skills and experience?

Do you have experience of fitting, assembling, repairing or servicing mechanical based equipment?

Joining their depot based in Oldbury which is their centre of excellence for moving decks you will be trained on how to inspect, repair, service and maintain moving decks on HGV vehicles which will include changing ropes, pulleys, hydraulic rams as well as running trunking and wiring.
