Job summary

Coalesce Recruitment Limited seeks a Workshop Engineer for a nationwide service provider, based in Oldbury. You will learn to inspect, repair, service and maintain moving decks on HGV vehicles, including ropes, pulleys, hydraulic rams and electrical wiring.

This semi-skilled role offers ongoing training, hands-on development, and a clear progression path within a supportive engineering team. Monday–Friday 8am–5pm, salary £27,040–£31,200 with pension, holidays and workwear.

Qualifications

• Strong practical approach to problem solving.
• Comfortable using various hand tools.
• Mechanical and electrical engineering skills required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, service and maintain moving decks on HGV vehicles.
• Change ropes, pulleys and hydraulic rams.
• Run trunking and wiring.
