HOURS: Monday – Friday, between 08:00 and 17:30 (40-hour week)

Dawsongroup emc is the UK’s leading supplier of self-drive municipal, industrial, and specialist vehicles for contract hire. Due to continued growth, we are now seeking a Workshop Engineer/Technician to join the team here at Brighouse.

The Workshop Engineer will be responsible for the servicing and repair of Dawsongroup environmental municipal civil Limited’s (DGEMC) hire fleet equipment.

As the Workshop Technician you will be responsible for:

• Fault diagnosis, repair, and routine maintenance of sweepers and other company equipment
• Examining sweepers and other company equipment
• Carrying out vehicle inspections and MOT checks, delivering vehicles to MOT test stations
• Assisting the rental operations department, ensuring weekly stock checks of all hire fleet assets not on rent

The successful Workshop Technician will hold:

• HGV mechanical experience (ideally)
• Experience dealing with hydraulic systems
