Job summary

Adecco are seeking a Workshop Diagnostic & Repair Engineer in Aylesbury to diagnose and repair hardware and software faults on advanced laboratory equipment. You will manage workshop-based investigations, coordinate repairs and provide remote and phone support to customers, while keeping accurate service records in the CRM.

The role also covers internal IT support for office and field staff, requires a science background, Windows 11, Microsoft 365, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Scientific background with experience working within a laboratory, life sciences, biotechnology or technical instrumentation environment.
• Proven experience diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing hardware and software faults.
• Previous experience in an IT Support role is essential.
• Science degree or medical background advantageous

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot and coordinate the repair of hardware and software faults on advanced laboratory equipment.
• Provide technical support to customers via phone, email and remote support tools.
• Work closely with colleagues and technical teams to resolve complex issues; maintain service records in the CRM.
• Support field-based engineers across the UK and accompany to customer sites when required.
