Job summary

Vertu Nissan Stockton is seeking an experienced Workshop Controller to join our Aftersales team. You will plan and allocate work, support Technicians, and drive workshop efficiency while maintaining high service standards.

In this pivotal role you will manage workflow, monitor productivity, ensure deadlines are met, and communicate with the Service Department to deliver outstanding customer care. A base salary of £35,000 with an OTE of £40,000 is on offer, along with excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within the motor trade.
• Workshop Controller, Senior Technician, or similar workshop leadership experience
• A full UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Plan and allocate work to Vehicle Technicians
• Manage workshop loading and ensure resources are used efficiently
• Monitor productivity and workshop performance
• Ensure deadlines and customer commitments are met
• Support Technicians with technical guidance and workflow management
• Maintain high standards of quality, safety and compliance
• Drive efficiency and help the workshop achieve department objectives
