Job summary

Perfect Placement is recruiting on behalf of a reputable car dealership in Epsom for an experienced Workshop Controller. This role leads daily workshop operations, allocates tasks, and provides technical guidance to the team in a customer-focused environment.

You will monitor KPIs, ensure safety compliance, and collaborate with service advisors to maintain high service standards. A clear path for progression within the dealership group is offered.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Workshop Controller or similar role within a car dealership environment.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of workshop processes and automotive systems (preferably Kerridge/Drive).
• Ability to organise workload effectively and prioritise tasks.
• Good communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily workshop operations to ensure productivity and efficiency.
• Allocate jobs to technicians and monitor workflow to meet service deadlines.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the workshop team.
• Liaise closely with service advisors to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Manage workshop KPIs, including productivity, profitability, and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Support the development of team members through coaching and performance management.
