Job summary

Sandal Wakefield is seeking a proactive Workshop Controller to plan, organise and lead a 24-bay workshop. You will supervise staff, perform quality checks and monitor repeat repairs to ensure top customer satisfaction for a prestige brand.

The role offers an attractive salary with bonuses and an OTE over £45,000, based on a £38,000 basic, along with 24 days' annual leave (rising to 26), a birthday day off and a car benefit scheme. Driving licence and dealership experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous retail motor industry experience at dealership level.
• Full driving licence required.
• Experience as Workshop Controller or Senior Technician is advantageous.

We are currently looking to recruit a WorkshopController at Sandal Wakefield. The importance of this key role is paramount to Sandal; being one of the largest privately owned BMW/MINI Retailers in the area, our aim is to deliver a premium serviceto our customers.

We’re looking for a logical, analytical thinker to bring their energy and attention to detail to this role, someone who is naturally results and outcomes focused to deliver the best experience possible for our customers.

Reporting directly to theServiceManageryou will be responsible for:

Supervising the Workshop and its staff in order to achieve an agreed level of quality, efficiency and profitability

Carrying out Quality Control checks to ensure that the work carried out meets the highest level of customer expectation and to confirm that good working practices are being applied.

Monitoring and measuring repeat repairs in order that preventative actions may be implemented as required.
