Salary: Up To £43,300 Including OTE

An exciting opportunity has become available at our Volkswagen site. We are seeking an experienced Workshop Controller to join our dynamic team in our impressive facility. This role is ideal for a talented and enthusiastic individual looking to advance their career with VW. As a Workshop Controller, you will supervise and motivate our team of Technicians & Apprentices and proactively review and prioritize the daily workload.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 8am - 5:30pm, 1 in 3 Saturdays 8am - 1pm

You will be a crucial part of our business and the Aftersales Department, reporting to the Aftersales Manager who will support you with the necessary tools to excel. You will also have opportunities for brand-specific training to progress within the JLR brand and the motor trade industry.

The responsibilities include:

1. Ensuring compliance with company, DVSA, health and safety, and OEM policies.
2. Ensuring all service work is carried out correctly, competently, and on time, with customer satisfaction in mind.
3. Maintaining relationships with the vehicle manufacturer and supporting Technicians during repairs to uphold high standards.
4. Liaising with colleagues and other departments to ensure top-quality service.
5. Scheduling work to meet customer needs, considering workshop targets, job complexity, and parts availability.
6. Supporting the team with technical challenges and writing technical reports.

We are looking for someone who is friendly, confident, and enthusiastic. The ability to work collaboratively as part of a team is essential, and a full valid UK driving license is required.
