Job summary

Northgate Vehicle Hire is hiring a Workshop Controller for our Kidderminster site. You will lead a busy workshop, coordinating technicians to keep vehicles safe and on the road, while driving productivity and customer satisfaction.

We expect a qualified technician with strong diagnostic knowledge and leadership skills. The role offers a realistic salary with a substantial bonus potential and benefits in a modern workshop environment.

Salary up to £40,273 realistic OTE(basic£37,639 pa + bonus up to £2,634 pa)
Weekly Hours: 42.5 hours / week

We’re looking for an experienced and qualified Workshop Controller to play a pivotal role at our Kidderminster site. This is more than just managing workflow, it’s about keeping businesses moving, customers satisfied, and vehicles safely back on the road as quickly as possible.

Working in a modern workshop equipped with the latest technology and manufacturer-specific diagnostic tools, you’ll be at the heart of a dynamic operation where no two days are the same. You'll lead from the front, coordinating technicians, managing priorities, and ensuring every vehicle leaves the workshop to the highest technical and quality standards.

As Workshop Controller, you’ll have a direct influence on workshop performance, maximising productivity, efficiency, and profitability while supporting your team to deliver exceptional results. You’ll also be the key decision-maker on warranty and recharge opportunities, using your technical expertise and commercial awareness to drive success.
