Your responsibilities include managing the Service Department to meet and exceed customer expectations and achieve business goals.

This role is suitable for an organized, quick-thinking individual with motor industry experience, looking to develop their career into management. The ability to meet deadlines, react swiftly to technical challenges, and thrive in a fast-paced environment is essential.

Key responsibilities include:

  1. Managing and coaching a team of vehicle technicians, ensuring targets and business objectives are met.
  2. Ensuring all servicing work is performed correctly, efficiently, and on time, with customer satisfaction as a priority.
  3. Collaborating with colleagues to provide seamless service to customers.
  4. Scheduling work based on customer needs, job complexity, and parts availability.
  5. Providing estimates for servicing and repairs and setting realistic timescales.
  6. Assisting technicians with technical challenges to find effective solutions.

Essential skills:

  • Relevant automotive industry experience, including workshop control or technician roles.
  • High levels of organization and accuracy.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with customers and colleagues.
  • Leadership ability to motivate and lead by example, ensuring team targets and quality standards are achieved.
