We have an exciting new opportunity at Colchester Land Rover for an experienced Workshop Controller to join our state-of-the-art facility. This role is ideal for a talented and enthusiastic professional looking to advance their career within a premium brand environment. As a Workshop Controller, you will supervise and motivate our team of Technicians & Apprentices, proactively reviewing, prioritising the daily workload.
You will be a key part of our Aftersales Department, reporting to our Service Manager Charlie, who will provide ongoing support and training opportunities to help you succeed and grow within the Jaguar Land Rover brand and the motor trade industry.
The successful candidate will oversee the daily operations of the workshop, ensuring technicians meet their targets and that the department delivers excellent customer service while achieving profit and retention goals. You will also maintain high customer satisfaction through quality checks and adherence to standards.
The ideal candidate will have motor industry experience managing a team in a busy Service/Workshop environment, with a minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent). A good understanding of COSHH legislation, trade practices, and consumer legislation is essential. Knowledge of quality control and inspection standards in a workshop setting is also required.
