Job summary

Reed Engineering are partnering with an Oil & Gas service company to recruit a Workshop Assistant for an ongoing temporary assignment. You will undertake general duties in the warehouse and yard, including preparing equipment for transport and keeping areas tidy.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts, packing/unpacking equipment, and preparing gear for transport. You must have B1 & B3 forklift licences (certificates required) and a full driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience operating forklifts.
• Able to commence work at short notice, ideally next week.
• Hold B1 & B3 forklift licences (certificates will be required).

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts in warehouse and yard.
• Perform general housekeeping and organisation of storage areas.
• Pack and unpack equipment as required.
• Prepare equipment for transport and load onto vehicles.

You will be responsible for undertaking general duties in the warehouse and yard, mainly comprising of:

• Operation of forklifts
• General housekeeping
• Packing and unpacking of equipment
• Preparing equipment for transport

We require candidates who:

• Are able to commence work at short notice, ideally next week
• Hold B1 & B3 forklift licence (certificates will be required)
• Have a full, clean driving licence
• Have Overhead Gantry Crane ticket
