Job summary

HMH is recruiting a Workshop Labourer for our Kintore workshop. You will assist Technicians with daily tasks, move and organise tools, and help keep the workshop clean and safe.

Role requires a valid UK driving license, forklift experience (training available), and familiarity with overhead gantry cranes. You will be part of a small, reliable team supporting yard and workshop activities.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving license is essential.
• Forklift truck experience is preferred; training can be provided.
• Experience operating overhead gantry cranes is desirable.
• Reliable, motivated and willing to work flexibly is required.
• Strong awareness of health and safety in a workshop environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist Technicians with day-to-day workshop tasks.
• Move, lift and organize tools, materials and equipment.
• Clean work areas and maintain a safe and tidy workshop.
• Load and unload deliveries and prepare parts for overhaul.

HMH in Kintore have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated, hardworking individual to join our Workshop team as a Workshop Labourer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Technicians with day-to-day workshop tasks
• Move, lift and orgnanise tools, materials and equipment
• Clean work areas and maintain a safe and tidy workshop
• Load and unload delivries
• Prepare parts, components or materials for the overhaul process
• Operate basic hand and power tools
• Support inventory checks and store supplies correctly
• Follow safety procedures, PPE requirements, and housekeeping standards
• Help with general yard or workshop activity
• Deliver/pick up items using Company vehicle
• Perform other manual or routine tasks as assigned by Supervisors
