Job summary

Milton Keynes College is seeking a Workplace Trainer: Construction (Property Maintenance) to deliver high-quality teaching and assessment to PMO apprentices both in college and at the workplace. You’ll help apprentices develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required by the apprenticeship standard and prepare them for successful completion.

• Strong multi-skilled construction expertise.
• Experience delivering training or teaching in a construction setting is advantageous.

Milton Keynes College is seeking a Workplace Trainer with strong multi-skilled construction expertise to join our Apprenticeship Construction team. As a Workplace Trainer: Construction, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, coaching and assessment to Property Maintenance Operative (PMO) apprentices both in college and within the workplace. You will support apprentices to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required by the apprenticeship standard and prepare them for successful completion of their programme.

Alongside training delivery, you will help ensure our practical learning environments run effectively, supporting workshop readiness, maintaining equipment and resources, coordinating materials and stock, and contributing to apprentices' End-Point Assessment (EPA) preparation across both college sites.

You will work collaboratively with the Apprenticeship Construction delivery team to support and develop apprenticeship programmes. Due to the requirements of the apprenticeship standards, applicants must hold a relevant Level 2 qualification or above and be able to demonstrate current industrial competence and significant technical experience within the construction sector. This is an excellent opportunity for an industry professional who is passionate about developing the next generation of skilled tradespeople.
